Blackened Sumac Lamb Chops




  • 1 lb lamb chops
  • 3 tablespoons Sumac Blac Rub
  • 1.5 tablespoons canola oil (or any neutral oil)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice or 1 medium lemon squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Morton kosher salt


  1. Whisk together the marinade by mixing Sumac Blac Rub, oil, lemon juice, and kosher salt.
  2. Add lamb chops to marinade.
  3. Grill over medium-high heat, about 5-10 minutes per side until desired doneness (about 130F for medium)

    What temp do you cook them at? Did you use the heat deflector? What kind of wood. We went to egg fest to see what you were cooking. Loved the Chops. Amazing job.
